Yea... They just got a new guy to do the "dance" (aka anything
electronic) ordering and he claims that he will be getting their
selection much better. I believe he's even subbed to this list.

Yea, I was the one who posted this question when I moved here like two
weeks ago... Everybody told me Evil Clown, Reckless and Grammaphone
were the best.
Quaker Goes Deaf used to be great but now they unfortunately closed.
I'd say your best bet would be just to walk around the
Grammaphone/Reckless area (Clark St. in Lincoln Park) because there are
a ton of shops around there (the pawn shops are pretty cool as well).
As far as clubs go... There aren't really any good clubs in my
opinion... There are just a lot of clubs and they all occasionally get
somebody good, so you have to just kind of watch the Reader or something
and look for the good ones.
